If you can find the materials for good, sturdy winter wear, I'll transmute it for you. If, for some reason, you can't find said items, And I'm talking about curtains, fibrous materials, hell, old couches will do..... I will search for them for you for a price.


Nothing's free, no matter what world you're in. If you want something really bad, then you gotta work for it, or else it's not worth having.

You could always sew using materials from other types of clothing that may be useless during this season. Moving around such bulky items seems like a huge hassle.

It's a headache I usually don't bother with, but you're right. I'm thinking of taking apart the couch downstairs. It's a nice green velvet, I can line it with the couch stuffing, it should be warm enough.

That is a point! Dressing in layers is never a bad thing, and personally I've found that it works better. When you trap layers of air, they act as insulators and most of the time those layers of air are more effective than one thick article of clothing.

So I'm guessing you know more about clothing from a scientific stand point and not a fashionable one? If you don't care much for style, than it'd be pretty easy to use layers like that. ...It's a little too 1980's for me, but eh...

There are, but most of the roofs are caved in, and they've been ruined by the moisture and mice have made holes in them... but if we can't find anything like that...


Yep, mom knows how to work those, doesn't she? We can skin them, use the meat for a stew, clean the skins and use them to line boots so they're warmer.

Style? Unbreathable, polymer fabrics are actually the WORST things to wear in cold weather. You'll sweat, and that sweat isn't absorbed so you'll get clammy and then take layers off, loose heat and then... it's a downhill spiral.

Natural fibers. Or as natural as we can find them, here.

If they're just wet and not rotten, the material's workable. Fibrous plant material would work too, but that stuff I would use more for insulation and liners than actual cloth.
