How the hell do I make this work out? -=He absently pats the cow's cheek.=-
If I can't figure out how to get you enough food for the winter, we're going to have to do something really drastic.

Hey... cut that out. I'm doing to have stiff hair for the rest of the day if you keep doing that. -=He speaks affectionately, half heartedly pushing the cow's face away, but it only encourages her, knocking the PCD on it's side as she cow-glomps Ed, giving him a thorough washing.=-

I have a river in the backyard, so I have a water source. I'll look for food to try and help out that way as well.

You can't just transmute anything and everything to suit your needs. It doesn't work like that. There's a price to pay, and I'm not going to pay that for a cow. Not when there's other things that can be done.
