-=The PCD clicks open to a scene outside. Ed's leaning on a fence, chewing on a piece of hay as he stares out at the sky. It's sunrise, and getting really cold. There's a huff and a grunt by the machine before Ed's head shifts to the side and there's the distinct sound of licking with the huffs of warm breath steaming around Ed's head.=-

Yeah, it's around that time again, eh, Marge? In a couple weeks, the light show that's happening back home is gonna start, and we won't see any of it.

-=He sounds quiet and contemplative about it, reaching over to scratch the back of the cow's head, right behind an ear.=-

It's a pity, with everyone going on about their holidays, there's no way for the Amestrian one to come up, huh?

-=Ed watches the sun rise, still chewing on the straw.=-

Let's get you some feed, okay? -=he gets up, patting the pink cow's neck as he steps off the fence to walk back into the barn. The feed cuts out a few minutes later on the rising sun.=-
