It's another weird thing the Animus are doing, right? Making us believe in these weird pieces of history they've dropped everywhere. It's another mind fuck, isn't it?

What's the point?

What's the benefit to them, the ends they want to achieve? Someone with that much power has to have something better to do with it than just play with reality.

Oh yeah ghosts attack our town all the time and they always have grand plans and stuff.

What the animus do just seems pointless. It's much easier to deal with an enemy who knows what he wants.
