What the ... what is this? -=Ed's mucking around in a place that had books and lifts one up. It's waterlogged, but the cover can still be seen=-

I've never seen this book before. I wonder if Al knows about it. -=he handles it carefully, reverently. Books are always cherished in his hands.=- I'll have to dry it out. -=Because, come on, there's a dragon on the cover! It's gotta be cool, right?=-


Anyone seen this here before in the library or anything?

[Al shrugs off the punch, but he looks withdrawn, terribly so. He looks up at Ed and for a moment he looks as though he's about to cry.

He just wants so much to believe in people, and to love them. To help them. And this just keeps happening.]

[He can't stop being himself. He can't stop trying to help people. He can't shut himself off, or give up, or stop believing in the good of the world. He just can't.]
