You may not complain about it, and others might not notice, but I can see how stiff your back is sometimes. It's in your eyes, in the way you walk. I know you're in pain. Think of all the injuries you've gotten in our journey, trying to get our bodies back to normal. Who knows how many years you've lost, even if you don't count the childhood you gave up. For me.
... I don't want to live some long, peaceful life, being protected and set up on the shelf like some china doll. I've never been like that.
I want to be out there, doing things, using my gifts, and at your side.
